‘Carrie 2013’ Story Reveal:
Carrie is a polite, timid teen studying in a school along with a bunch of smart, beautiful, sprightly teens. One day she is having a bath in the girls’ washroom, at some point she starts bleeding. It is a very normal issue for girls but she starts freaking out seeing blood as if she is gonna die.
The other girls say it is period blood but she can’t calm down. Girls take the chance and start throwing tampons towards her. She slips back with blood all over her body. Chris, who is a friend of Sue, films the incident. The gym teacher Ms. Desjardin comes and slaps her to pacify and slowly convinces her about the situation.
After this, we see Carrie’s mom who is extremely conservative(in an unhealthy way). Carrie asks why her mom didn’t tell about the monthly period earlier, like other parents.
Here is the interesting thing about her mom. She loathes the thought of having sexual intercourse. Period opens the door. That’s why she hesitates talking about it with her own daughter. As a consequence, she is having a trauma. Mom even says she showered with those other girls. She had lust filled thoughts that’s why God is punishing her. She says everyone has to shower, that’s just the rules. Mom says she must have been different because ‘He’ can smell the sin on her.
Carrie doesn’t want to be different, she wants to be like everyone else. Mom hits her head with a book, she falls down. Carrie insists she didn’t sin, mom sinned as she didn’t tell her about the period. After hearing such an insolent statement, she locks her in a closet.
Sue gets up in the middle of having intercourse with Tommy as she is repenting for throwing tampons to Carrie White. On the other hand Chris is thinking about posting Carrie’s video online. Next day, Ms. Desjardin puts an obligation upon the girls that they have to do the suicide run everyday in this week. If anyone stops, she will be out of the prom. Chris is such a spoiled brat she denies doing that and tries having other girls on her side but no one responds. So she has to step out.
Carrie enters school and everyone is looking at her like she has committed some crime. She feels so low, and is obscured in the washroom. She looks at the glass angrily, instantly the glass is broken. Carrie gets frightened, thinking what is happening. She looks at the broken pieces and wishes for having the pieces together. The pieces start combining together.
She feels she holds some kind of magical power in her. She looks at the American flag and makes it flow in the air.
The Spoiled Brat Chris in Carrie 2013:
Chris asks Sue why she didn’t stand up for her. Sue thinks they deserved it for what they did to Carrie White. Chris still thinks she didn’t do anything wrong, if she is guilty then Sue should be accused for the same reason as she called her ‘Freak’.
Lastly Chris says Sue has made this change of heart ’cause she wants a perfect prom with her perfect boyfriend. Sue decides to have her boyfriend Tommy to be with Carrie White. She wants to give her this amazing night in her life. At first Tommy doesn’t agree but eventually falls into line.
Tommy asks her to attend the prom night with him. She knows Tommy is the fittest boy in the class who goes around with Sue Snell. They are trying to trick her so she rejects him. Carrie keeps crying at the corner, in the meantime Miss Desjardin comes to her and makes her realize she is a grown woman, and she is worth more than she thinks.
She says yes to Tommy and collects fine pieces of clothes to make a prom night dress. Her mom tries to prohibit her but she uses her telekinetic power to leave her off. Her mom tries to put the incident in a very ugly way saying,
‘Boys, after the blood(period), comes the boys sniffing, slobbering like dogs.’
Mom thinks the devil is working through her. She shouldn’t follow her instincts but Carrie wants to lead a normal life like others and that’s not a sin.
Chris’s bf takes her to a pig farm where he tells her to pick one pig which they are gonna squeeze out the blood of and then put it on the stage roof so that they can spill it over when Carrie will be on stage at the prom night. Meanwhile she makes her dress with care and passion and gets ready on the day. Her mom keeps trying to make her retreat and at some stage she reveals the truth of her life. She was raped by Carrie’s father, wanted to kill her but can’t kill her though.
Carrie locks her mom in the closet where she used to lock her and sets off to the prom. There everyone is dancing, drinking, and having fun. Tommy behaves so gently with her. She feels like a princess. But then Chris is there to spoil her moment as usual.
Chris has set up her people everywhere so that she can faultlessly insult Carrie in front of everyone. Now this is the moment for announcing the King and Queen of the prom, Chris happily texts Sue who has just been out of shower saying,
‘Your girl looks good. She won’t for long.’
And undoubtedly the King and Queen are Tommy and Carrie as it is preplanned ’cause Chris wants them to be on stage. When Carrie stands on the stage happily holding the winning crown, a bucket of pig’s blood smudges all over her. She starts shaking with anger, frustration, pain, all the negative forces get arrowed in. Carrie is leaving but when the bucket dashes off Tommy’s head, she can’t hold her wrath, she destroys everything excluding Miss Desjardin and Sue out of it.
Tina, Jack, Billy, Chris everyone gets their square punishment for the crime they have committed. Carrie gets back to her mom but her mom doesn’t want her anymore, she steps up to kill her but dies of Carrie’s assault instead. Sue comes over her house to console her but finds she has killed her mom. Sue is about to die but she saves her and tells her she is gonna give birth to a girl.
