Terry is a stage dance performer, breaks her leg while jumping in the middle of a performance. She loses all of her job hence all of her jobs require dance skill. She needs a call of performance to make her living. Lastly she gets rejected from Alan Marchand’s company, also he humiliates her.

Terry follows to his luxury apartment where she suddenly feels sick hearing someone saying ‘I’m here’. An old couple rescues her and behaves pleasantly with her. They are childless rich geminate, have none to spend the money with.

They let her stay rent free in a beautiful apartment 7A(they call it ‘The Bramford’), making Alan Marchand a neighbour. Terry gets in the apartment and finds a single shoe stuck in a drawer which belongs to the previous tenant named ‘Joan Ceburski’.

Terry keeps it in case it might help. However at night she enjoys a drink party with Mr. Marchand which makes her intoxicated and she eventually have sex with him and it confirms her place in the chorus(Dance Show).

Terry meets Mrs. Gardenia coats her wounds with rosemary ointment, and the next day her leg feels much better. At night around nine, there is a drink party for the tenants of the Bramford. Terry overhears Minnie and Mrs. Gardenia’s conversation. Gardenia is prohibiting Mrs. Castevet(Minnie) from doing something.

Minnie arranges a beautiful gift for Terry and its a shiny woollen overcoat. She trials it, at that time she sees something demonic entwining her in the mirror, when she touches it, it disappears.

Next day, Terry feels sick, consults a doctor, he declares her pregnancy. Dr. Sapirstein spread the news to Bramford. Terry doesn’t want to keep it but the Castevet couple requests her to keep it anyway. All they are saying is that she could give the kid up to some stranger she doesn’t know, instead she could give the baby up to them in return, they’d give her anything. But all she wants is to work, is to be onstage.

Every night Terry starts having nightmares like some hooded persons are standing around her, tying her with a table. Among them there is the devil!!! Terry gets up and wanders about what is making sounds. She finds Mrs. Gardenia standing nearby and suddenly attacks her saying,

‘I have to stop it.’

She closes all the doors but when the ambience gets calm she opens it and finds Mrs. Gardenia on the floor. Gatekeeper takes her to the hospital.

Mrs. Gardenia was losing her marbles(going insane), the next day Mrs. Castevet describes her like that. At her me time, something makes Terry approach the kitchen and she notices a secret door behind the shelf. It is Gardenia’s room. She takes a diary and leaves right away when hears someone’s coming.

At the practice session, Vera, who is supposed to be the main attraction, suddenly has a seizure. As the opening night is in a matter of days, Alan decides to replace her with Terry Gionoffrio. Terry is happy but the timing of her sickness astonishes her. Doctors are saying she might never walk again.

The show goes well. Terry is being freshened up, at that time, she feels blinding stomach pain. She calls Dr. Sapirstein to let him know about her condition but he reacts normally as it is usual for a mother to feel that way in the first trimester.

Sapirstein suspects she is going through mental problems like Perinatal Hysteria. She can’t convince him that she isn’t crazy. Terry picks up the book she found in Gardenia’s room, there is something written about the demon’s coming out though the pregnancy delivery.

Terry immediately leaves the room to find the whereabouts of Joan Chebulski. She left her belongings in a storeroom six months ago, saying she would be back in a day!!!

When Terry touches the Holy Bible, it burns her hand. She goes to the church and it makes her more sick. A Sister sees Mrs. Gardenia’s book in her hand and she advises her to stay away from it. For generations, rumours have persisted about a congregation of Satan worshipers that made Bramford home.

She gives Sister Joan’s photo, who lived there before her. Sister informs she had come here to repent but it wasn’t she who needed to repent. They did terrible things to her, ungodly things. She fled in the middle of the night. She was hit by a bus. Witnesses said they saw some chasing her.

The leader of their coven claimed to have conjured the devil himself. He left a son and heir. If this child is born, there will be disaster.

The Devil Persists to Protect Itself!!!

Terry and Annie come to a local lady to abort the child but she instead has a seizure attack. Terry decides to face the consequences alone.

She gets back to Bramford and the lift mysteriously takes her to a hidden satanic church where Alan is waiting for her. Terry remembers what happened that night. She was raped by the devil!!!

Later she escapes the church but can’t escape the Castevets who are the culprit of her present suffering. She tries to penetrate the knife inside but the devil doesn’t let her. Lastly she starts dancing in front of them and dramatically commits suicide jumping in the air.

The artists that have come here in the last ten years. Keith suggests interviewing him as he is one of the founders of Lion Tamers(circus artist).

Next morning, on the way to her interview, Tess looks around the devastated neighbourhood like someone bombed here. After the interview when Chatherine knows she is staying in Barbary, she suggests to her not to be there. Even a strange man chases her home saying,

She comes across a secret door inside the basement when she searches for toilet tissue. There is a room which holds a camera pointed to a bed in front of it, which means something bad has happened here(like porn or rape). Meanwhile Keith arrives, he saves her from the locked basement.

Tess wants them to get out of this area right away but Keith doesn’t understand how a bucket, a camera can scare someone and he won’t panic until he sees it with his own eyes. Tess waits for him but suddenly he stops responding. Tess goes down and finds another doorway which has gone deep down.

Tess isn’t willing to go down but Keith’s cry for help compels her to go deeper. At some point he finds him kneeled down. There is someone else with them who bit him. They shouldn’t be up there ’cause they lived there. Suddenly a female demon appears out of nowhere, crashes Keith’s head with the adjacent wall.

Meanwhile Tess gets out of the cage and leaves the places with the help of that nigga man. Tess wants to get help to save AJ but she should never get back in there and she isn’t even the worst thing that’s in there!!!

Meanwhile AJ clears the room and finds another door at the end. He enters and an old man is stuck in there with a lot of video footage. AJ plays one and brutal torture scenes appear on the tv. He is gonna say something but the old man ends his life with a gun right away.

Tess starts the car to crash it to the door but the demonoid appears at the front to resist but it doesn’t do any good to her. Tess goes deep again and this time AJ mistakenly shoots her with that old man’s gun but she isn’t dead.

There was a Psychopath Frank owned in the house. He used to hunt single living women and raped them to grow babies. He taped the torture videos and watched them again and again.

The baby boys would be buried and girls would be alive. He raped his own girls then make babies, then babies of babies, babies of babies. Eventually he ended up creating something demonoid human like her.

Ending Explained of Barbarian 2022:

At night demon mom comes out looking for Tess as it considers her a baby. When they confront her, AJ gets panicked and they go up the tower. AJ understands the demon wouldn’t kill her so he throws Tess outside to get the demon out.

It is a story of a Finnish family. Tinja is a 12 year old gymnast whose mother Matka has a vlog channel in social media. She depicts her family as a happy, blessed and progressive family. But the truth of her life is different that we would know about gradually.

One day, Mom is making a video. At that time a bird messes up her interior intruding her home. But it can’t be alive for long as she breaks its neck and throws it in a bin. At night Tinja finds the crow in the forest crying out in pain. She thrashes its head with a stone but brings the bird’s egg in her home.

Next day, she attends the gym class but can’t perform according to the way she must have done for the competition. Her friends offer to go for a walk but she refuses as she needs to take a run towards home. At home, she catches her mom having an affair with a mechanic. Tinja gets upset even if her mom presents it in a different way and offers to keep it a secret.

After two days of a business trip when she was actually with her boyfriend, Matka is back at home. She finds Matias making waffles while Tinja is filming it. Conversely, the egg is surprisingly bigger now.

Everything about her is perfect. At night, Matka confesses to her daughter that she is in love with Tero. Tero is the best thing that ever happened to her. Matka is going away this weekend too.

Tinja doesn’t show her anxiety, unhappiness to her mom. She can’t say she isn’t happy about her infidelity. The egg is much bigger now. Tinja keeps crying while holding the egg. Then suddenly it is hatched. A big birdly creature with big teeth, comes out. Next day, when the demonic bird comes again, Tinja understands it considers her a mom. She showers it in her bathroom. She even sings it to sleep but the sleep doesn’t last long as the dog starts barking.

The demon bird kills it right away as it was harming Tinja’s sleep. Tinja buries the dog in her garden but Matias sees it. He even tells his father but dad immediately leaves the room when he sees blood in Tinja’s bed thinking she has had her period. After, Tinja gets to know about Reetta’s dog, which is lost. Tinja knows that demon bird killed it but as the bird loves her she doesn’t spill the bean. Returning home, she finds mom who has bought a gift for her.

That makes Matias jealous and he brings that dead dog to them saying Tinja killed it but nobody believes him. Matias is about to leave angrily but he notices something in Tinja’s room that takes him there. He feels the presence of some ghostly creature but can’t determine what it is. Tinja names her Alli and feeds it her vomit as birds are naturally designed to eat mom’s vomit. At night Alli dresses up and scares Matias. Next day, we see Tinja is combing Ali’s hair and it is almost looking like a girl. Next day, Reetta again performs better than Tinja. When the practice ends, Tinja gets nervous because of Reetta. Alli feels her anxiety and attacks Reetta when she is on her way back home.

Tinja feels something terrible has happened. She screams in the car and then mom calms her saying competition is always stressful. The best way to get rid of stress is to win the competition. She suggests that she can spend this weekend in Tero’s house to remove her stress. Returning home Tinja finds only the beak of Alli. Tinja thinks Alli is dead.

In the morning, Tinja and Matka set off for Tero’s house. Tinja gets in her room fearfully as Alli will be there at any time. We notice Alli after, looking exactly like Tinja. This demon which once was a bird, now has become Tinja. Tero is a good man although he is breaking Tinja’s happy family but he understands Tinja’s pain. Tinja is doing gymnastics only to fulfil her mom’s wish otherwise she has no interest in it at all.

While Tinja is showing off some of her skills, she hears Alli’s call. She vomits into a bowl but the sound touches Tero. He opens up the door and sees Alli is coming towards him fiercely. Tero gets hurt although he makes a promise to Tinja, he will not tell anything to Matka. Today is the competition day and Tinja is anxious what if Alli does any harm to Helmi, Tero’s daughter.

Alli knew that Tero was going to tell everything to Matka he saw that day. We know when Tinja gets hurt, Alli gets scars in the same part. So Alli can’t hurt Helmi. Tero sees her escaping through the window.

Failed in the competition, Tinja and mom return to Tero’s house. Tero gets so angry seeing Tinja as he thinks Tinja attacked his baby Helmi. Matka doesn’t understand his words so she goes after him to talk with him. Conversely, Tinja keeps calling Alli. Mom breaks up with Tero and breaks down hitting her head with the dashboard.

At home, Tinja throws Alli out of the window but it returns and hides in the closet. Mom combs Alli’s hair thinking Alli her daughter but her hair falls off with the comb and it scares Matka. Tinja comes and Matka doesn’t understand how there are two Tinja. Tinja clarifies everything to her mom and mom understands what she needs to do now.

She stabs Alli but eventually Tinja dies instead of Alli because Alli takes Tinja’s blood and gets alive.

Rhona, Scott, Heather, Donnie and Andy are in a car going to a Glen near Scotland’s highland. In the Glen, they meet Carla who is also heading to hike around. They get together here to find Rhona’s lost cabin which is the only thing that her dad left for her near Mercy Falls. At night Donnie kisses Rhona but she can’t take it further as tomorrow is her big day.

They kick off the journey but Rhona loses her track during her hill trekking. Carla comes forward to help. She says it’s three miles away. Following her, they pass a little area in the woods but Rhona loses Carla’s guide. Andie is being so rude, then Scott tells him to behave. It’s not like he is exactly keeping up. Rhona keeps hearing her childhood memories which her father used to tell her like ‘what do you think you are doing, Rhona’.

Suddenly Carla shows up to everyone’s surprise and Andy asks how she ended up behind them. She replies it’s an outcome of longtime practice. Everyone seems a little pissed off of Rhona. She gets very upset seeing no one seems to understand her.

They reach Mercy Falls, a beautiful waterfall creating a surreal natural beauty. Carla suggests going near the woods for a protected cordon. When Donnie offers Carla beer, she points him into some seductive words. Andy mocks Scott for reading in this wood and praises Heather for her dance. Andy takes Heather for dancing, throwing the newspaper in his hand and we can see a news which says, ‘Deserter Escapes; unstable veteran instils panic in locals after escape from psychiatric hospital.’

Scott gets furious seeing Heather’s skanky behaviour. Andy and Rhona calm him down, conversely Carla hides away the paper which holds her escaping news. Andy is making a speech about women’s needs which should be taken care of by her boyfriend. Rhona doesn’t think it’s pretty much a big deal because she is always like that. She was just being herself.

Next morning, Scott confronts Andie for kissing her girlfriend. Andie calls her bitch for divulging to Scott but suddenly he gets aggressive and fights him. It leads Andie to get lodged in a tree root. He is losing his blood severely and everyone is trying signals but there is no signal. Meanwhile Carla jugulates him leaving everyone stunned.

We see Carla’s past life, where she killed people because she couldn’t stand people’s pain. It’s a mental problem. Her logic is Andie was gonna eventually die, it was gonna be slow and excruciating. She has made it stop. Rhona cries out of sudden shock, Scott vomits because of increasing tension.

They decide to go down and tell the police it was an accident. But with his throat slit, it doesn’t look like an accident so they have to tell about Carla. Carla is the one who jugulated him though she calls it an end of misery. She says Scott threw him down, Heather induced a fight, and neither of them tried to stop it.

They all fall into deep thinking how they can be out of suspicion. Carla says Andie was not much of a hiker, he was never here. They all have to tell this lie to be saved. They collect rocks to drown him in the lagoon. While collecting the rocks, Heather finds burnt paper where Carla’s escaping news is published.

Heather and Scott blame each other for resulting in this situation. Donnie restrains them telling he is flooding away his friend and they are squabbling over this matter. On the way to the cabin, Rhona lets Heather know this is Carla’s fault. She is the one who killed Andie. Andie might fall from a rock, they can go to the police and tell the truth. Carla has made the situation complicated.

Heather shows her the burnt paper and it is clear to Rhona why Carla didn’t let them go to the police. She is a wanted serial killer to the police. She shows it to Scott and Donnie. They decide they will go to the cabin first. There is a radio there, they can call the police. Wherever the radio is, isn’t certainly up the rock. But at first they have to hide in a cave nearby.

Carla is fifty feet up a rock face. They can’t run all the way back to the bunkhouse. It’s a day away. She will catch us before then. Donnie doesn’t understand why Carla will come after them, she can disappear here. But she doesn’t seem like she will leave them alone.

Struggle to going to the cabin; Mercy Falls 2023:

Carla sees them running away leaving her alone, it infuriates her. When they all are almost on the other side of the bridge, Donnie can’t reach there. He destroys the bridge so that Carla can’t reach his friends.

She reaches there and violently kills Donnie. Donnie says sorry to Rhona before falling to the ground.

They start running again but Heather stops by to take a sip from her water bottle otherwise she will die of dehydration. She intakes a lot of water even if Scott prohibits her from doing that. They take shelter for some time in the woods because continuous running causes them to feel weak.

Heather needs to pee in the middle of their walk. Scott gets so angry with her that he expresses his irritation because of it. Rhona tells Scott not to be so dick. Heather gets a little far and is being burden free. Scott says sorry to Rhona for being mean. He actually can’t stand Heather after all the things that happened before.

After quite a moment, there is no sign of Heather coming. They go forward to find her and get her hanging body that dips them into deep shock. Scott, who was tired of her, starts crying like a child. Rhona starts screaming like a wounded tigress to get Carla in front of her. Carla is smiling, watching them hiding behind the trees.

They spend the night running, and find the cabin the next morning. The cabin is full of memories of Rhona running through the trees with her dad. She doesn’t want to end up like her other friends. She wants to kill that fucking cunt. Scott finds the radio and fixes the generator to play it. The radio doesn’t respond.

They collect rope, pieces of fabrics, axes, knives, kerosene oil etc. There is a beautiful cave where you will find broad ways into the deeper area. She puts torches in a row to ignite them when it is time. Returning home Scott and Rhona get intimate before the final confrontation.

At night, suddenly the light goes away, it’s very normal that Scott will go out to check. He takes an axe and goes carefully but gets stabbed by Carla. She goes to the cave and Carla follows her. She ignites all the torches and fights with her with all of her strength. In the end Rhona throws Kerosene oil on her and it burns out the whole lot of her.

Gwen Taylor starts her new job as a manager in a motel at the night shift. Arriving at the motel, she rings the bell to catch attention. She decides to roam around the area, and the cabin 18 catches her attention as it is open. She checks but sees no one, instead bumps into Teddy Miles, the manager.

Teddy is a very nice and simple guy, he shows every pros and cons of the motel that needs her concerns. Gwen notices the pool area, but it is under construction for having a sinkhole last summer. He called the county to close it, but they responded late and are coming on this weekend.

Teddy leaves with his car after demonstrating all the necessaries to Gwen. Gwen notices a silhouette moving aside from the door. She checks the key holder, and finds room 6 empty. It means room no. 6 is booked. The check in book says, Ms. Marsh is staying for one night. She knocks at her and offers a fresh towel. She opens the door late and Gwen feels weird noticing her bloody and dirty nails.

Gwen puts the dirty bed sheet into the washing machine and feels hungry. At that time, the phone rings and the land phone shows it’s from room 13 that is empty. Gwen gets scared a lot but gathers courage to pick it up. But she realises her mistake hearing a ghostly laughter.

Gwen takes a knife aiming to make a defense for herself and decides to get herself into the cabin 13 where people don’t choose to stay. Cabin 13 is dark and empty for a long time, and Gwen hears growls entering the room.

Nothing is found even after it is checked thoroughly. Gwen notices a phone there and it is full of dust. There is no sign of it being dialled a while ago. When she is checking phone, a creep rises head from the bed and goes outside.

Guess what? Gwen gets a call from the reception desk which is empty now. She stares blankly at the dial pad and that creep utters that is for her. She screams out her breath and bumps into Alice, the girl from cabin 6. She is searching for an alternate hair dryer.

Gwen looks out for an alternate in the store room and wises up to her she hasn’t slept for the past five hours that’s why, is seeing things and hearing voices. At some point, the store room door shuts when Alice accidentally moves the brick. For a few moments, Alice and Gwen panic like they are having a heart attack but the food delivery man saves their ass.

They eat together and I think staying together is a good idea for them in a creepy motel like this. Alice talks about her mom, she doesn’t let her do anything like dyeing hair, doing parties etc. That’s why she fled from home after going through a huge fight. Gwen hinders her saying these things about her mom since she might be searching for her now but Alice doesn’t think so as her mom grounded her for a month for some stupid reasons.

Gwen’s mom was the same way but still she thinks family matters. The world can be a dangerous place, if you want to be on your own. She is getting two cokes for them, and at that time a car stops by and passes her for two times. Gwen doesn’t feel good and shuts the door right away. Alice touches her and Gwen drops the cokes out of fear. Alice understands she is scared for some reason, she thanks her for the food and leaves.

While cleaning the mess, Gwen hears a thud and it’s Yogi again. She lifts it up strugglingly. Then another car stops at the motel. They enter the desk and want to book the motel for staying one hour. But it against the motel policy. Gwen offers them a night instead. The man insults the motel for not agreeing upon his decision. At last they book room 2.

Gwen goes outside and sounds coming from room 2. She peeps through the shutter and sees the woman is whipping on the man’s naked backside. She senses someone watching her and comes outside but finds none as Gwen hides behind a car.

Gwen goes to pool side alone and something grabs her attention. Whenever she puts her feet on the stairs, she falls down and a haunted thing come out of the sinkhole towards her but Alice saves her. Alice says this place is haunted and it is part of her reasons to come here. She wanted to see if they were true.

When Gwen was Alice’s age, a man named Walton Grey, a loner, broke into their house. He killed her mom and sisters. Only she survived the massacre. Cop locked him away in an Institute but he escaped two days ago. She has found her necklace that her mom gave her, in the mailbox. It went missing the night the massacre happened.

She got so scared that she left the moment she realised that man sent her this but he followed her. She saw him twice today and now she wants Alice to keep her door locked. Before leaving, Alice tells Gwen she is gonna go back to her mom as family matters.

Gwen sees a little girl entering the lobby, she calls out but no one responds. The security camera shows a girl standing outside but she is not seen physically. Gwen lifts her head and gets a jumpscare bumping into a ghost. She locks herself and calls Teddy for not telling her this place is haunted.

She wises up to him that it is her last night, she isn’t coming again although Teddy keeps telling her this place isn’t haunted. At that time, the bell rings, it means someone has come to book rooms. She apologises for being late but her face changes when she sees him. It is the man who was following her all day long.

She takes her to room no. 8 and hits his throat with scissors.

The Plot Twist; Night Shift 2023:

The man is actually not the killer, he is a shrink named Raymond Bailey. He is her doctor. She has been under his care for 12 years at Ashford Psychiatric Facility. Two nights ago, she escaped. There is no Walter Grey, it’s a figment of her imagination. She told him how her family mistreated her. That moment, the three corpses she saw in this motel are seen together, and we can understand they were her imagination. This place isn’t haunted.

Whenever the doctor says it, she remembers everything and kills the doctor as she is possessed by Walter Grey. A car arrives from the Ashford Hospital and two men come to rescue her but she kills them too. Alice comes out hearing sounds, she never thought she would get killed by Gwen.

Lastly, one year later we see a man has come to The All Tucked Inn to stay the night and Gwen receives him. She sarcastically says, last summer, there was a hole in this pool. It was so huge that you could feet five people there, Gwen laughs hauntingly saying that. Wait, five people? She killed Teddy too!!

Madison is a social media influencer. Influencer is someone who is popular among people through social media. She is in Thailand now and her boyfriend was supposed to come but at the last time he bailed. 

Madison hears all the time how magical this place is but all she can do is to sit by the pool. Madison gets introduced with CW incidentally and tells her grief. Next morning, CW takes her to see the sunrise. Madison wants to take a photo CW but she doesn’t like being on camera.

On the other hand, Madison wants to click every moment but she misses her boyfriend. CW understands she is missing male company. CW finds two men to travel around with them. But after returning to the motel, Madison can’t believe what she just saw. Her belongings are robbed.

It causes her to stay two more weeks in Bangkok to pick a new passport and CW wants her to stay with her although Madison hesitates to put her out. Madison loves her place in the middle of the woods. They hang out, have fun and make food at home. CW keeps a surprise for tomorrow day and Madison looks forward to that.

CW takes her to a beautiful deserted island, miles away from land where there is no connection available. At night, when Madison is expressing her gratitude saying she hasn’t been in front of fire in like a decade.

She shares her scout time experiences. There was a girl who used to talk about dark shits. If she were here, she would probably tell CW brought her all the way to kill her out here. CW says she isn’t gonna kill her but gonna leave her here. There will be no food or water available around here. She will last three or four days at the most.

Madison stares at her with her curious eyes and laughs it out loudly. Madison says it’s a good plan but everyone will notice she is gone. CW thinks those little girls whom she sells products to, they would never notice.

Next morning we see her to execute her diabolical plan.

The New Prey Jessica in Influencer 2023:

CW takes over Madison’s account and makes videos wearing a blond wig and manages to fool everyone by replacing her face with Madison’s face. She continues this faking for a while then takes a break when the fans start poking her to arrange a meet.

She becomes alone again and searches for her new prey and here comes Jessica. New popular heartthrob in Bangkok. CW follows her to a shop to start a conversation. She knows a place down the road that has the real Jade. What Jessica holds is for her sister who has no idea about the real jade. So it’s not any necessary information that she needs.

She understands she would be a little tough to handle. CW studies her a little more and gets to know she runs a group for lonely people to encourage them. Next day, she meets her again in the hotel and makes such a nice impression as a huge fan of hers that she calls her back when she is about to leave as part of the plan.

She tells the same story from Madison to her like she was to come with her boyfriend but at the last time he bailed etc. Since Jessica likes her sweet personality, she thinks about taking her out to some amazing places in Bangkok. Next day, they are to explore but a predetermined dinner takes place in her mind that she has to leave.

On the other hand, CW is not wasting her time. She steals her hotel room card and sacks her belongings just like she did with Madison and guess what? Jessica ends up being trapped in Bangkok for two weeks in CW’s place.

But it’s her time to get surprised because Ryan, Madison’s boyfriend, is here to surprise her and to patch up with her. CW never expected the broken up relationship would come back to CW’s life to ruin everything. But everything needs to be executed in a calm head.

She keeps her cool and acts normal like nothing happened. Next morning she uses an app to call Ryan while Ryan is around her. She reminds Ryan that they broke up and he needs to leave but Ryan insists on seeing her and the plan fails. Ryan asks Jessica what about CW. Madison had her room broken into and got stuck here.

This line gets Jessica into deep concern. She texts Madison through insta but it reaches to actually CW because she handles everything of her now. CW gets scared a little and gets back to her house immediately. Jessica is about to leave but falls in front of her. Jessica shows the cause of not wanting to put her out anymore just to ignore the awkward conversation.

But she is irresistible. Jessica tells her the suspicion that is roaming around her head. She is not trusting her anymore. She thinks Madison is probably not her friend, she was also kinda stuck here. She ends her dialogue with,

‘You are fucking creepy.’

CW can’t hold her temper anymore and kills her brutally. She cleans the mess, then Ryan reaches with a bunch of friends. Ryan is in a pretty chill mood and searches for Jessica but CW doesn’t let him treat this place like his own place.

At night, she keeps thinking how she can get rid of him. She approaches Ryan’s room with a knife, at that moment a text lights up the phone screen. She notices a picture uploaded from Ryan’s account tagging her where she is standing near Jessica.

The Aftermath of Pretending One’s Identity in Influencer 2023:

Next she emerges a new impression on Ryan. She says he can stay as long as he wants. Ryan feels different about her now and he notices a new picture of Madison’s boyfriend, uploaded from Madison’s account. 

CW thinks Ryan should give her freedom but Ryan thinks it’s fake. This isn’t her. At night CW pretends to seduce him and has his phone unlocked. In the morning, Ryan gets suspicious about the night but leaves her place being hopeless.

Ryan returns to Bangkok hoping to see Madison. He talks with Jeffrey and Madison never mentioned the new boyfriend’s name. So he takes a very careful look at the videos and removes the edits. It reveals the real face of CW.

He gets back to the house and ties her but she persuades him to take him to his girlfriend. This stupid guy believes her and ends up being killed. CW ties him with the boat and posts her wounds’ picture in the social media accusing Ryan. Netizen backlash him for his deed.

She takes Ryan and Jessica’s dead body to the deserted island and a surprise was there to hit her. Madison is alive and beats her to senselessness.

That superficial bitch smiles standing there alone while Madison rides on the boat back to the land.

Why did CW laugh in the end staring at the ongoing boat?

She laughed because even after all of her efforts, she couldn’t manage to kill this girl. She had to kill two people for her but still she is alive. She was laughing, recalling the irony of her fate.

CW was alone and not suitable for being on camera. That’s why she holds a grudge for those people who are always surrounded by people.

Kaylie tracked it down through second bidders, people who lost at the auctions. It was in storage, part of an estate collection in Bremen( it is a city in Germany). It took her a year and a half to get it into our warehouse and it is about to ship out to a new buyer.

They only have a few days, but it should be enough to keep their promise and to kill it. At the present time, Tim books a room in a hotel for him. Tim promised Kaylie he would never forget what really happened but he is reluctant now. Kaylie says she is gonna do it tomorrow night and she could really use his help.

At night, having a night terror Kaylie screams in sleep and Michael calms her. Michael takes her off the auction network as there are some graphic crime scenes that have been found from her computer. Kaylie put in a transfer order for the Lasser Glass. She informs Michael it is done for repairing the glass.

Michael wants to know the reason behind the corpse print-outs. Kaylie opens up about dealing with some dark stuff along with Tim. She suggests to him just to bear it a day or two more. Things will get back to normal.

Kaylie gets the mirror in their old house where they lost their parents. Tim joins her but is reluctant to stay for long. Kaylie starts her experiment by opening three cameras. They will record if any anomalies occur.

She has stored foods, water bottles, and alarms for the hospital. Each room is fitted with its own thermostat from which data is collected by software. The purpose is to prove the activity of the supernatural force of the Lasser glass.

This object is responsible for 45 deaths in the four centuries. She describes some history of Lasser glass. The alarm rings to recall food time. Tim thinks they were kids when the incident happened. Their father really was a sick man who murdered their mom.

Kaylie slaps him for saying that. Then she talks about Marisol who dies in her bedroom of haemorrhaging due to a miscarriage. In her nightstand, they find every single one of her teeth in a pillar plastic bag. Tim correctifies her there is a huge difference between causation and correlation.

In 2001, mom and dad bought that new couch. Same year, grandpa had a heart attack, Robbie Schultz got hit by a car and their cat ran away. Is Kaylie gonna blame that couch?

Kaylie keeps talking in front of the camera ignoring him. The mirror adorns the home office of Allan Russell, their dad. Within two weeks of its arrival, Marie suffers an intense mental breakdown and is tortured and murdered in the family home. For torturing their mom, Tim killed his father.

Tim feels guilty for what he did but Kaylie doesn’t approve of it. She knows it’s liability goes to Lasser glass. Tim takes a chair to break the glass but doesn’t do it. Instead he says he knows what people do when they can’t process loss, the mind creates all kinds of protection to help them cope.

But Kaylie believes the mirror makes him unarmed. Kaylie keeps ignoring him and shows him how she is gonna destroy the mirror. Kaylie gives him a water bottle to hydrate the trees and cover the dog. In their old days, the mirror affected their dog and dried out the plants. Kaylie and Tim are arguing over Mason’s unusual behaviour.

Alice Carden’s Australian shepherd, Tobin Capp’s Dalmatian, the pets were never found. It clearly shows the Lasser glass is responsible. Tim thinks Mason was sick. He was vomiting, accidents all over the house. His therapist had him research Parvo virus. It’s a fatal canine illness which incidentally can kill plants.

Kaylie can’t believe Tim is remembering it that way. She saw Mom lock Mason in the office and she sat outside that door all day and nobody went in or out. When he tells about fuzz theory(check quote section), Kaylie dismisses the point as it is baseless.

Tim emphasises that Alan was having an affair. It was a bad marriage. But a bad marriage can’t explain how Marie had no teeth, no hair, no mind left by the time she died. That also can’t explain the other people they both saw in the house that night.

Tim still thinks he was having an affair because of Alan’s secretive behaviour. Kaylie says she had gone through his father’s file, there was not a single evidence of having an affair. He was seduced but we have to see who seduced him.

Kitchen alarm rings and Kaylie gives Tim an apple to eat and sees he is changing lights. That means, Tim is totally into it like her. They both are working together. Kaylie can see the younger Tim looking at the mirror and can see her father taking food for her mom.

One of the bulbs is fused, she changes it but fuses again. She changes again and bites the bulb thinking it is an apple. Her mouth gets full of blood but it’s the trick of the mirror. When Tim comes, realises the thing in her hand is an apple. They realise they should stay together otherwise the mirror will get the chance to trick them.

Kaylie gets a little drowsy resting on the mirror and the mirror has almost set the killer machine towards her but she wakes up at the right time. Since they lose electricity, she sets backup lights and breaks a dead plant tob. Kaylie gets confused between real broken pieces and surreal ones. She stabs her dead mom but in reality it is her fiance Michael.

Kaylie breaks down, killing her boyfriend. Tim takes her out and tries to convince her to stay outside. Tim calls 911 for help and they respond. Tim says they don’t have to do anything. They just sit here and watch that thing die. The kill switch will kill automatically when it’s time.

Suddenly the electricity lights up the whole house. They see themselves in the house but can’t decide whether it’s a trick to get them back inside or it’s a trick to keep them standing outside. After that they make a call again to 911 and this time the mirror plays its dirty game.

Eleven years earlier; Oculus 2013:

We see young Kaylie and Tim are shifting to their new home with their parents. Marie asks Alan if he expanded the furniture order. He replies that there are more coming. Marie laughs and thinks it’s a bit ostentatious.

At night, a female figure seen in the dark by Alan but for a glance. Next day, when Kaylie and Tim are busy playing, Kaylie notices a lady who is grooming Alan’s shoulder. But he denies it later at the dinner table. 

Alan got a scar in his nail while biting that. He taped it and now is gonna open it. But he plucks the whole nail instead of the tape. You can’t define what you just see. Something paranormal is occuring. Later he calls Kaylie and Tim to make them explain about messing up his room that they don’t know about. Alan also thinks they are spoiling their mother’s plants too.

Alan has got his gun in case anyone attacks them, he will use it. But Marie doesn’t like roaming around with guns in front of children. When Marie is about to go out of the room, she hears Alan saying ‘Grotesque cow’. She asks him about it but he denies.

At night, the dog starts barking in front of Alan’s office. Marie makes him stop but in return, gets bitten by the dog. Marie hears Alan talking with someone inside. She thinks Alan is lost in his own world. Alan shouted saying he is working. 

Mason, the dog starts barking again in front of Alan’s office. Marie locks him into the office and she can’t unlock it later. Alan comes and finds the dog more sick.

Kaylie again sees the woman in Alan’s office and Marie is also hearing the woman’s voice from inside. They argue over the matter one night which wakes up Kaylie and Tim. 

Marie finds out about a woman living in Alan’s office whom he is continuing an affair with. Kaylie and Tim both have seen her. Marie enters Alan’s office and discovers a woman’s name written chaotically on a paper. She gets disheartened and throws angrily towards the mirror.

Immediately the mirror waves her and hypnotises her. She attacks the children but they lock themselves in their room. Alan comes home and finds Marie erratic. He holds her in such a way that she faints. Then he ties her in her room and makes that room restricted for the children.

Kaylie tells Alan they need groceries and the tv needs to be fixed. He keeps them on his list and continues to look at the mirror. They go to mom’s room and find mom in an indescribable situation. Kaylie doesn’t understand why her father isn’t calling a doctor. She calls a doctor but Alan makes him leave explaining the situation wrongly. Kaylie notices Alan always looks at the mirror. 

The electricity goes, Tim comes to his dad and encounters a grotesque looking entity which was seducing Alan. Alan takes his gun and Tim sees it. Tim and Kaylie plan to smash the mirror. But Marie chases them to kill as Alan releases her. But Marie can recognise her children and at that moment the mirror makes Alan kill her. 

When the two different time collides in Oculus 2013:

Tim watches the young Tim and Kaylie going inside the room. He understands the mirror is playing with them. He is looking for Kaylie but can’t find. Kaylie is watching their younger self too.

We can clearly understand they both are following their younger self. Old Tim tells old Kaylie that they made the right call outside. The mirror is trying to keep them away. They need to go outside so that the mirror can’t trick them.

But they can’t get outside and the mirror isolates them from each other. Young Tim and Kaylie hit the mirror repeatedly but they fail to break it. Alan comes and makes Tim kill him and it breaks a part of the mirror and several dead people come out of the mirror. 

Suddenly Tim comes out to reality and Kaylie watches her mom in the mirror. She can’t realise that it isn’t real. Tim immediately switches the anchor. But unfortunately it kills Kaylie.

The Ending of Oculus 2013:

Just like his childhood, Tim again kills his family member unintentionally but the police whom he called, don’t believe him but understand this isn’t normal. He might be sick. So it’s likely that he will be sent to the mental hospital.

Michael is a quiet, modest boy who was Kaylie’s fiance. He wanted to know what she was dealing with. Kaylie didn’t want to bring him into this. That’s why she asserted it.

‘Have you ever heard of the fuzzy trace theory of human psychology?’

Our brains actually encode information as fuzzy traces. More like a general meaning than an exact record. Adults are more likely to combine those traces into false memories. 

‘We are gonna have to get really, really brave.’

This line, Tim and Kaylie told each other whenever they needed motivation to go ahead and to take a brave step against dark entities.

Scene starts with a conversation between two people Gordon and Phil. Gordon is looking so tired because he is tense because of his daughter’s ear infection. Phil is his friend and they are in charge of  cleansing the asbestos from Denver State Mental Hospital. Gordon Flemming is the owner of Asbestos Abatement company. They are waiting for the car which will take them to the hospital.

In the infirmary, they understand it will be a tough job. The hospital caretaker is showing every pros and cons of the sanitorium(hospital). Caretaker takes them to the most dangerous unit which is called ‘the snake pit’ where they keep the most dangerous patients. Gordon suddenly is feeling lost somewhere and then a voice whispers to him, ‘Hello! Gordon’.

They find Crocidolite(blue asbestos) there. When they are passing a corridor, Phil notices a room full of pictures. Bill says it’s a seclusion room, patients used to come here to recall their childhood. Surveying is done. Bill congratulates Gordy for their child Emma. Gordon wants to accomplish the work within one week because he needs money.

Next day everyone gathers in the sanitarium. Jeff, who is a nephew of Gordon, plays punk music and then Mike and Hank forbid him to do that. Hank’s girlfriend is Phil’s ex so he irritates him whenever he gets the chance but Phil doesn’t care when he whines.

So, pat with the help of her doctors, recalls that when she was ten, her father abused her. Not once or twice, he would do it three times in a week. Whatever happened with Patricia is called devilish abuse syndrome. It was big in the ’80s. It destroyed many families then. She was ready to sue them and ready to testify against them but it didn’t happen. She dropped the suit. Because their parents found a one year old report where it was proven that she was a virgin. So finally it was proved that none of it happened. But because of this incident and the budget cut, this asylum got closed.

The Mysterious Sessions in Session 9 2001:

Mike checks the breaker box and notices a room full of files. He is a reader so it makes him curious. He finds two boxes, written ‘Evidence’. There are some sessions with mental patients. The next day Gordon is looking outside, and suddenly he hears that male cryptic voice.

On the other hand Mike plays session 1 and a DID patient talks with doctors. This case has four personalities Billy, Simon, The princess and Mary. While the other crew members are doing different work, Hank finds some old currencies in a broken wall. He is greedy and a gambler. He decides not to tell anyone.

They all were having lunch at the lunch hour. Jeff is reading an article where something was written about mortifying someone’s pride. Hank says it means killing someone. While working Hank is telling Jeff everyone should have an exit plan, we don’t want to die having lung diseases.

Mike will complete her education, become a lawyer and will make his father proud, that is his exit plan. Phil surely has a plan, maybe he will tell one day. But uncle Gordo has no exit plan because he has spent his whole life doing this. Gordon is talking with his wife Wendy over the phone. Suddenly he notices Phil is talking with two people and exchanging something with them.

Then through Amy, they get to know that Hank taking his car bolted to Miami to a casino. But Gordo can’t believe Phil, so he asks him about yesterday’s two people he was talking with. They are about to fight but Gordo leaves.

Phil says Mike Gordo is being maniac in order to maintain his fatherhood, nevertheless it was not even his idea to be a father. Mike opens a drawer numbered 444 to get Mary’s case detail. Mary’s two other personalities are talking but doctors can’t wake Simon. Gordon calls Wendy to apologise. Gordy shares a secret with Phil. One day Gordy gets some flowers for Wendy for giving her the job news. She is cooking in the kitchen. He is about to kiss her and suddenly the hot water kettle pours upon him. Then he slaps her. After this they get separated and he is trying to call and apologise.

Mike goes to listen to session 9. Doctors motivate Mary’s other personalities to wake and tell what happened in Lowell. Only Simon knows what happened because he made her do the sin. Phil finds Hank. Jeff is running through a lane. Suddenly everything gets dark. 

Jeff runs off to a van and calls uncle Gordy. Suddenly someone attacks Jeff and kills him. Mike is about to listen to the ending part of the session, he comes out and refills the electricity. Whenever he reaches out to the building, he gets killed too. Then Phil finds Gordy to tell something then everything blacks out.

The sessions Mike was listening to about a patient called Mary who is a Dissociative Identity Disorder patient. This is a kind of patient who carries multiple different personalities. Mary was found with her brother, father and mother and they were dead. Doctors are examining every personality to discover what actually happened. When Simon wakes up, he tells one day Peter was scaring Mary with a knife, so Simon persuaded her to kill Peter and he made her kill her parents too so that they can’t scold her for what she did.

In the movie, there is another DID patient we will see now that is Gordon who kills Jeff, Mike, Phil and Hank with a lobotomy stick. He killed his wife Wendy and his daughter too. Theodore, getting bored, thinks about buying things going to a super shop and everyone asks about Stetler. Theodore has no idea who he is.

Theodore starts doubting, noticing she is being private with him. While she is taking a shower, Theodore checks on her laptop and phone to clear his doubt and finds nothing. At night, writing out his mental stress helps him to drain his negative energy but suddenly hears a banging sound.

He walks down all the way to the corridor and checks the underground areas and feels like a shadowy figure roams around and takes his picture. It leads him to find a lot of photos scattered. He finds Ella’s doll fallen down the floor and gets so scared thinking Ella is in danger. Later Ella is tracked down to the room beside the corridor. He slaps him repeatedly and eventually slits his throat, which wakes him up from sleep.

He tells Suzana about his dream. Suzana beholds the mysterious rooms and the place where he found Ella’s body comes up in front of her. As they all are having bad dreams everyday after coming here, they decide to leave the house.

Packing up, Suzana goes out and plays with Ella. At that moment Theo sees her phone ringing in front of him and notices another phone in her hand. He gets himself in front of her and clears up his doubts to her and Suzana acknowledges. He tells her to leave the house because he needs a night to himself and refuses to be with her.

Theodore and Ella are all by themselves. Theodore sees two watery portions are not being mixed up, he understands there is something fishy about this house so he takes a triangular thing to measure the house and he finds the house is bigger inside than the outside. Isn’t it weird? Ella gets inside to put on her jacket, she loses herself. Theodore gets in to find her but he can’t trace her. Suddenly Theodore realises the house is shifting its rooms from one place to another by itself.

Theodore tries many ways but fails to track down Ella as the house is making puzzles. Then at some moment he reaches out to an old corridor. Meanwhile, Ella comes into a room where she beholds someone dipped in a bathtub. Hearing Ella screaming, Theodore breaks into a locked room and finds her. They decide not to leave each other’s back and he reaches out to Suzana for help. Theodore calls the shopkeeper from the other day and he advises him to use the triangle because it is the devil’s house.

Theodore gets scared and gets Ella out of the house. Ella sees someone watching them from the window and its figure is kinda similar to Theodore. They walk for a long time to get a taxi but they can’t get any help or any way to get rid of this house and eventually they return to the same place where they started. Theo thinks they should stay in the house otherwise they will be frozen out of cold.

Theodore wakes up hearing water dripping sound and reaches out to that bathtub. Then a devilish form attacks him and throws dirty water upon him. He escapes and reaches another room where Stetler is waiting for him. He asks him where Ella is and pleads for letting her go. But he says as long as Ella is with you she will be harmed. If Theodore wants her to be in peace, he needs to let her out of the town.

John is an auto mechanic, and is called in to a police station to validate a statement given by his daughter who is living in a church right now. Reverend Beaumont provides them with a statement paper signed by his daughter. Detective Bruce records some statements where he says Angela never lies but part of him says it’s impossible whatever she is claiming that we don’t know yet.

Bruce tells him to cut the shit and wants to know the reason for her avoidance. Then John admits his fault but he doesn’t remember doing it. Bruce goes to his mom’s house with a police team. His mom regrets what he has done. When Bruce checks on Angela’s room, George comes up and hinders him from doing it without a warrant. On the way back, George expresses his surprise for John, molesting his daughter.

Next day, Cleveland meets Professor Raines who tells him John is trying to cooperate since he is not hiring a lawyer. John is an extremist who can do awful things but can’t live with that.

It’s kind of a satanic ritual. Bruce confronts George, on a tricky note, George gets caught. He is sent to jail and Katie is his lawyer. She is working on bailing him and Bruce wants permission to talk with Angela for her identification.

The Reverend says she is always sad here and he knew it was her father. Angela writes something on a note. Angela wrote all the things they did to her when they summoned the devil and she identifies George as the rapist. The Reverend confronts John who branded her daughter with an upside down cross. He realises John was to his church to desecrate that, not to get over his wife’s death.

The whole town is now on the topic of Satanism. Cleveland tells about a channel where a girl shows a book named ‘In Satan’s Name’. This book is converting people into doing abusive rituals. Police department orders everyone to get a copy and read it. One of the officers updates them with the trace of Roy, John’s son who lives in Pittsburgh. Raines and Bruce do their regression hypnosis with him and find six people wearing black hoodies to scare him in his childhood. They assume there was his Grandma, Rose.

Police search the whole house and Rose slaps Bruce when he asks her about the photos. George attends a lie detector test and meanwhile Bruce gets the FBI reports about satanic cults. Bruce was right, the FBI was following them for several years. Ever since the book was published. There are rituals happening everywhere but with no proof. If they don’t be able to find the proof, George will be released. Bruce gets excited saying we can’t release a man who is part of a satanic cult. Meanwhile, Angela shows her sign, branded on her stomach and confirms the devil will kill her and Bruce.

Bruce wakes up in the middle of the night having several people around him wearing black robes and a naked woman forcing him to have sex with her. But thank god! It was just a bad dream. Next Bruce tells John to give him names of those who were involved with this crime instead of drawing devilish pictures. Rose, the grandma talks with Angela and asks her why she made the Reverend tell her about the incident when she knew she was involved with. It was just because she doesn’t remember anything. In her home, she confronts the devil and recalls the argument between John and his wife when they killed a baby for ritual. She jumps off the window frighteningly and dies.

Bruce and Angela are now pretty close together. Roy comes to see his grandma to console her. Grandma remembers everything but Roy doesn’t acknowledge it. Reverend gives a rosary to Bruce and Raines gets pissed off seeing him taking it but at the same time, Bruce finds a man wearing black hoodie. It is one of their tactics. They blend in with people on the street and start staring at someone. Just in that moment, he gets a call and no one responds. We see that caller coming out from a booth who is none other than Angela!!

That night Bruce again has a nightmare of killing a baby and making him drink blood. Wherever he is going, he is finding people staring at him. Meanwhile, George gets released and Bruce gets flared up seeing him outside of custody. He passed the polygraph twice. Angela’s medical report says her mark is superficial, not done by George. It’s typical for trauma victims to want to strengthen their testimony by adding little details.

Bruce takes the first tape, listens to it carefully and confronts John about what else he was gonna say that day. He says Ray is a sodomite, being a sodomite is a sin. These are the sins people learn from some pervert. He thinks he is that pervert and that’s why he is taking the blame of molesting his child on his shoulder for punishing himself.

Bruce finds that lady who frequently comes up to his dreams as a Satanist ever since the case began. What if regression is the same thing. They are induced fantasies by us, by the media.

In his house, he gets assaulted by George and says he told him that night she is not stable but he didn’t believe him.

Coming back to church, Bruce emotionally tells Angela that he has solved the case. George confesses everything. He made up some stories in his mind from earlier and Angela acts like those things are true and that’s how she gets caught. All those made up stories are now laughing at her. Bruce says George and Angela were sleeping together but he refuses to take her responsibility.

When she realises her fate is gonna be like her mother. She took revenge by making up these stories and that bullshit regression therapy helped her to fulfil her intention. She used to call Bruce at night to scare him.

But Bruce can’t prove her guilt to the court as there is no proof. So he tries to reduce John’s punishment but he denies. He wants to get punished as he is responsible for her daughter’s present condition and her mother’s death.

In this movie, John, Roy go through the process but what they remember is not something that actually happened. It is something the doctor wants them to remember so they remember something untrue but mixed up with the truth.
