PLOT EXPLANATION OF HOUSE AT THE END OF THE STREET 2012:

Eli, with her mom Sarah, gets into their new house, Reed’s place. Eli knows about the rumours going around the area. Sarah thanks Eli for making dinner. Eli says you should thank daddy for teaching me how to cook. Sarah thinks this place is gonna be really good for them. It’s just gonna take some time for her to get used to having her around. Sarah wakes up in the middle of the night and notices the Jacobson house and suddenly she sees the light is up there. 

Next day, all neighbours get together in a neighbour’s place. Sarah asks Dan if anyone is living in the Jacobson house. He says that would be Ryan Jacobson, the son. But he said earlier that it was empty. The woman who takes Eli to the swimming pool, introduces her son Tyler, honour roll, student council. Eli finds her a little snobbish when she was talking about her son. The way she gave an intro about her son, it implies that he is a total loser.

At the dining table, they start to discuss Jacobson. The Jacobson boy pretty much keeps to himself and he is living there because he is driven down by all our home values. The daughter, Carrie Anne, killed both her parents. That time Ryan stayed with an aunt upstate. The killer girl drowned but they never found her body so some people think she still lives in the woods. When Sarah and Eli are going to their house, they look at the woods and we see someone passing the woods who was secretly watching Eli. 

Tyler tells Eli to join their famine relief group meeting after school today. She is gonna reject him because she is committed to watch a movie tonight with her mom. Since her mom gets stuck at night shift she goes with Tyler. Actually the famine group is a fraud thing, the money comes from Tyler’s dad’s account. He just does it to put it on their college app as community service. At some point, Tyler wants to kiss but Eli refuses. She gets on the road alone. A car approaches her and offers her a ride.

Eli understands this is Ryan whose parents got killed. She asks him why he lives in the house where his parents got killed. He says his parents sent him away when he was seven. That house was really all he had left of them. He heard him singing this morning. She gets surprised, he can hear her all the way from his house. He writes stuff early in the morning, that’s how he listens. Eli goes home thanking him.

At home, Ryan prepares dinner and goes to a room hidden under a locked door. He opens the door and immediately gets attacked by her sister Carrie Anne. That means he is actually here to look after her sister. He talks to her about Eli and he wants her to leave her alone. 

LOVE IS IN THE AIR!

Next day, Eli sees Jillian comes to say hi to her and thanks her for tucking her in. She also meets with her brother Jake and Robbie. They run a band and know Eli too. Because she is pretty famous. They say everything is online. They have a battle of the bands coming up. He offers her to come and sing with them and gives her a pen drive of their song.

On the other hand Sarah asks officer Bill about Ryan. Bill says everything positive about him. He was living with his aunt. A senile old woman. He had no one taking care of him. He was taking care of her actually. Then he moved back here with her, she died about a year ago. Ryan has had a tough life. He has never had any problem with him but still people like to bitch about him. Sarah agrees with him.

Eli comes to Jacobson property to see Ryan. She finds Ryan googling and gives him a CD that she has made for him. She enters the house and finds many things are gathered because he doesn’t go out much. She finds a family photo where the family looks really happy. Carrie Anne was the heart of the family. After the accident, everything changed. Then he was sent away. He has never really talked to anyone about this stuff before. Ryan comes to Anne’s room.

FLASHBACK

They were playing like everyday, their parents were having drugs. But Anne wanted to go higher in the cradler. And at some point she got thrown away and had brain damage.

She thanks him and leaves the place. At night, Ryan comes to Anne and finds her sleeping. He gets a little inattentive so he leaves her without locking her. Ryan is working alone, suddenly notices her sister running towards Eli’s house so he chases her and gets her. On the other hand Jillian accompanies Eli the rest of the night. Next day, Ryan gets invited into Eli’s house. Her mom intentionally invited him to make him down. She asks him how he pays the bills.

He answers that his parents inherited the house and a little money. He also goes to Bridgeport Community part time to get his credits in line so he can apply for pre-med. Eli pokes her mom saying she went to a psychiatrist for a long time, after she broke up with her father. We see a mother-daughter cold war here.

Ryan thanks Sarah for inviting him and they are actually the first people to invite him since it happened. Sarah sees them holding hands and gets excited. She clearly demands Ryan to be away from her because she wants her kid to do well in the exams. He says you are so lucky to have a mother who cares about you. Actually she invited him to throw him out. Sarah wanted to protect her but Eli gets angry and insults her saying, after all these years, she finally has decided to be a parent. 

Eli thinks Sarah treats her as a child. She was just getting wasted and trashy and he was so nice and gentle. On the other hand Sarah thinks Eli always gets so emotional over damaged kids around and thinks it like a project.

Eli calls Ryan and he gives them a ride into his car. Ryan and Eli sit in front of a tree. Ryan shows her there is a face hiding into a tree. In his childhood, his mom told him. Everything has a secret, we just need to find it. They kiss each other and are supposed to have a sex but Anne opens the lock and runs. Ryan gets Eli out of the house and Eli leaves crying. He chases Anne and grabs her. But he gets so hard on her that he breaks her neck. He takes her in the back of the car. She takes her home.

IT’S SHOWTIME:

On the day of the show, Eli tells him to come. He goes but gets attacked by Tyler and his group. They break his car and try to break him too. But Ryan defends himself and breaks his leg. Everyone gets shocked seeing this. The others from the group go to his house to burn it. They throw fires and run away. Eli reaches there and turns out the fire. Eli finds a tampon that girls use for periods. But he defends him saying if he finds out Tyler started this, he is gonna go arrest Tyler for assaulting.

Sarah is having a bad feeling. Bill assures her he will check on Eli. Eli searches the whole house. She goes to the room where Carrie Anne used to stay. When she enters, Carrie Anne attacks her and then Ryan saves her from Carrie Anne. He tells her to go away. Eli is about to leave the place. Then she notices a blue lens in her hand. She opens the trash bag and sees a lens packet and a girl’s ID card.

That means he kidnaps girls and makes them Carrie Anne. Eli understands everything but she pretends like nothing happened but Ryan catches her in no time, makes her unconscious tucking her head against the wall.

FLASHBACK

In their childhood when she swung away, she died instantly. Eli asks if Carrie Anne died instantly who killed his parents.

Sarah understands Eli connected her phone with home. She calls Bill and says to check on Ryan. Eli tries to calm him down saying that it wasn’t his fault. But Ryan thinks it’s his fault that’s why they punished him but there is nothing to worry about now as he stopped them. Bill comes to Ryan’s home to check on Eli but he denies that she is here. Bill calls Eli and finds the phone here. So he gets ready to attack Ryan. But Ryan stabs him to death.

Before murdering, he said that he could have stopped it a long time ago but he didn’t. Eli opens her ties and runs away but Ryan faints her with Chloroform. When Eli wakes up, she gets another woman dead beside her. She gets out of the trunk. In the meantime, Sarah comes here for her girl but Ryan shows his nice attitude to get over her but Eli screams at that time and he stabs Sarah. Eli hides herself under a chair and Eli takes the gun and shoots him. He gets unconscious and Eli goes to him to get the keys. He grabs her hand but Sarah hits him into the back of his head.

Next day, before leaving the house, Eli stands in front of the tree and a drop of tears rolls down her eyes.

The rumor about Carrie Anne…

Everyone knows that Carrie Anne killed her parents. When she killed them, Ryan was not there. He was sent to his aunt to live with. After the murder, there was a massive search, but she drowned in the dam. But they never found the body so some people think she still lives in the woods. 

The cruelty happened with Ryan…

The parents were drug addicted. They start to raise Ryan as Carrie Anne. They impose herself upon Ryan. That was a dangerous cruelty that happened to him. That’s why he killed his parents. 

‘It must have been nice having everyone together.’

It’s undeniably true that if the bondage between family members is strong, those kids get less diseases than others who lived alone. It must be true that a happy family ensures a healthy society.

‘Everything has a secret’

Yes, we all keep secrets within us. Life is not easy. This difficult life takes us such conditions sometimes which we are not comfortable to share with. And that’s called the secrets.

Plot Analysis STAY 2005:

Dr. Sam Foster has slept right through the alarm clock. Lila wises up, she was looking for him. Today, Sam will be working as a substitute for Dr. Levy. Henry, who was taking therapy from her, has no idea about her leaving as he wasn’t in touch with her.

She passed him off to Sam, Henry takes it personally. He thinks she might be afraid of him that’s why she passed his case to him. Sam asks him why he torched his car. Henry doesn’t remember. All he remembers is a torched car when he wakes up. He didn’t mean to hurt anybody.

Henry is in a metro rail and a girl recalls him as a psych of Professor Azzopardi who did a presentation on psychosis. An old man on the train tells him not to smoke as smoking is prohibited on the train. He burns her hand with the cigarette as he insists.

Sam returns with her girlfriend Lila when a hailstorm takes place. He calls Levy since he needs to discuss Henry’s behaviour. Sam is astonished because Henry predicted the hailstorm but it was a sunny day. How come he knows that? Although Lila thinks he might know from the weather update. But there was no such update.

Next day, Henry says he is hearing voices. Sam gives him a notebook to write down the words.

‘I didn’t move him. I know you aren’t supposed to move ‘em. I can’t watch anymore. Stay with me, Henry. Stay with me.’

Sam sees Henry burnt himself to practise before going to hell. He is gonna go to hell because he will commit suicide, Saturday midnight. Sam tells him so calmly that as you have told me, I am gonna take certain actions. Henry forbids him to do that because they still have three days to discuss it.

Sam feels tense hearing someone is gonna commit suicide. He tells another doctor who has just admitted a black girl. He tells him they should admit him into this hospital. At home, Sam examines Lila’s tablet that he prescribed her. Lila gets the tense vibe from him and ensures he can share everything with her. He shares Henry is gonna commit suicide and it scares him.

Sam calls Levy again but she is still out of reach. Sam goes to Henry’s college to know why he has chosen Saturday to commit suicide. Is there anything special about the day? He gets the answer. It’s his 21st birthday. The tradition is to go out and get drunk but Tristan started a different tradition. He died and that influenced him.

Sam asks about parents but he didn’t know they weren’t alive. But Henry has a girlfriend who is a waitress of a diner over on Canal street. She always asks how he is doing and he was gonna marry her but she is gone. 

We see Henry in front of an underwater aquarium and an old couple telling, ‘he isn’t gonna make it’. Sam confronts Lila that she stopped taking her pills. Lila can’t paint on meds. Lila reminds him something calling him Henry that Sam hears. Actually he is hallucinating. 

Leon and Sam are playing chess. Meanwhile, Henry comes and addresses Leon as his father but Leon doesn’t know him. Henry says he is his father. Sam comes to Henry’s home to search her belongings but finds nothing except some bullets. Other doctors request him to watch his back while looking for him because he carries a gun. Conversely, Henry is standing in front of a fountain and a child says,

‘Mommy, is that man gonna die?’

It is true that Sam has never stood where Henry is standing right now but Sam treats people everyday with conditions he has never experienced himself. Lila wants to talk to Henry to motivate him saying, ‘There is too much beauty to quit.’

Sam meets Levy and It seems Levy is so sick Sam takes her to the bathroom to get her a shower. Sam gets to know from Levy that Mrs Letham, Henry’s mom, is alive. He contacts her.

Henry’s mom behaves like Sam is Henry. She addresses him as Henry. Mrs. Letham says Henry did something because he hates her. Mrs. Letham expresses her ardour to have him near her. She says,

‘I know you never meant to hurt us.’

After that we see her head bleeding. How it starts bleeding doesn’t seem normal. When Henry insists on seeing the wound, Olive, the dog, bites him on the hand. While he is taking treatment, Sheriff Kennelly meets him and says there is no one, named Mrs. Letham at 9625 Rickover Street, is alive. He knows Mrs. Letham, and also went to her funeral. 

Nevertheless Sam frequently tells she has severe head injury, she needs treatment. She had the bluest eyes in town but whom he talked to had brown eyes.

We see Henry is in a bar, smoking cigarettes. In this nasty bar, he is seeing his whole life flashing in front of his eyes. Teardrops soak his face. Sam comes over Henry’s house again and notices the same ‘piano and balloon’ thing happening in front of his eyes. He asks them if they were there on Thursday. They get so irritated and tell him to bother someone else.

Sam gets to his home and Lila is so worried about him since he wasn’t home for some hours. He tells her he is seeing things and talking with dead people. Something is happening with her. Nothing makes any sense. Lila calms him down and lies him down. When he wakes up, he sees Henry. Sam wants him to say how he can tell the future.

Sam finds every diner in canal street to find Athena and he experiences a hallucination of Athena instead of really finding her. Henry goes to Leon and seeks forgiveness from him. When Henry hugs him, he gets to see everything clearly. 

Sam calls Lila and asks,

‘Tristan Reveur killed himself on his 21st birthday, right?’

Today is Henry’s 21st birthday. Tristan shot himself on the Brooklyn Bridge. He said it was the best artwork of the 19th century. Sam says whatever happens tonight, she should know he loves her. Then Lila notices some artwork with ‘Henry Letham’ and ‘forgive me’ upon them. That means Sam actually hallucinating Henry and doing everything that Henry is supposed to do.

Leon comes to Sam and says he can see everything. Sam doesn’t understand what is happening with them. Leon says,

‘Buddhist said that the world is an illusion.’

Sam reaches the Brooklyn Bridge and meets Henry. Sam asks what is happening around him. Henry assures him telling Sam is real. He is trying to save him but it’s too late. Then he shoots himself to death in front of Sam.

Ending Explained STAY 2005:

In the first scene, we see that Henry sits beside a car which is torched up. Henry who was going with her girlfriend, mom and dad. But he had an accident on the Brooklyn bridge. Sam’s car was just behind his car. Sam, Levy and Lila, who is a nurse actually, all of ‘em tries hard to keep him alive.

They tell him to stay and motivate him so that he doesn’t feel guilty. Henry keeps uttering ‘forgive me’. He proposes to Lila assuming her Athena. After a few minutes, he dies. 

Before death, people see his whole life flashing in front of his eyes. He keeps seeing it as a dream and that dream includes everyone around him.

Sometimes shrinks transfer their hard cases to other doctors. They don’t understand that it makes the person who needs mental help and support, vulnerable. They should act more liable to their cases.

When Henry was alive, no one believed in him except his parents. There was no one other than his parents with him. And they died because of his carelessness. That’s why he can’t forgive him and keeps saying, ‘forgive me’.

When Sam met Levy who wised up,

‘She didn’t touch him.’

It meant she was feeling guilty thinking she might be guilty of pushing their car. That’s why she keeps saying that.

The Tutor(2023) Plot Analysis:

Ethan is a pretty famous tutor in the city. A very wealthy family seeks for a house tutor that Ethan knows about from his friend. He goes there and takes a mock test on math and he nails that exam. Jackson lives in a palace so every inch of the house amazes Ethan. He bumps into two more people in that house who tells him the WIFI password.

Jackson completes the math section within a very short time which knocks out Ethan because they made him sound like he failed in the spring. Caretaker shows Ethan his room and it contains a beautiful ambience. Ethan tells Annie he finds Jackson a little bit on the spectrum. His thought about Jackson is not baseless that he proves again asking Ethan if he is worried about having a bastard. Ethan asks Jackson how he knows about his girlfriend’s pregnancy.

Ethan’s cousin Gavin proposes to him to have one of his girls since he is roaming with multiple girls all the time but gets rejected by Ethan. At night, Jackson comes to Ethan’s room making his face sad and says his dad doesn’t love him and his mom left him. Ethan also shares his sad part of his life. His dad was alcoholic and angry. His mom couldn’t handle that. Suddenly Jackson gets up grinning and Ethan understands something isn’t right about this kid.

Next day, Jackson offers him a dinner night with his dad but Ethan rejects as he understands he is getting emotionally attached to him. At night, he looks for Ethan to say sorry but instead finds some pictures of Annie and Ethan on his laptop. Next day, when he confronts him he gets furious and hits himself punching continuously. That moment he meets Jackson’s father who seems so hard on Jackson.

Ethan meets Annie at dinner and friends where he tells about everything that is going on now. Ethan is drunk and doesn’t notice that Jackson is already in front of him. Jackson gives him a reason to be there but Ethan knows he was there to stalk him. Next day, Ethan is waiting for their car to pick him up because Jackson’s father wants him to continue for the summer. Jackson tells him to go to their townhouse as he is stuck with his father.

Ethan goes there, eats some fruits and gets drugged. Next he finds him in a lake but luckily he manages to save himself. He gets himself home and gets to know a woman called when he was not home. Ethan finds out the drug name which is Hydrozoline and checks out his camera negatives. The negatives knock him out again and show him something that he didn’t want to see. When he was unconscious, they tied him up and made porno pictures with that girl Teddy.

Next day, Ethan keeps trying to contact Jackson but he is totally out of reach. Chris calls Ethan and informs him Jackson cancels the rest of his sessions with him because he is scared of him. He has got a pretty prominent bruise in his leg. Ethan tells him this bruise is caused by himself. He started to flip out suddenly and his father was there. Chris sets out that his father never saw him before. Annie asks what is going on that Ethan doesn’t even know.

Jackson did this because that night he heard everything Ethan told about him in the restaurant. Ethan threatens him to stay away from him. Jackson stages a crime scene where someone attacks him and he blames Ethan. Police arrest him. Annie asks him about Rachel Platt who is Jackson’s mother. Ethan dated Rachel but she was psychotic and committed suicide.

Ethan understands why Jackson is making his life hell. Ethan goes to the palace but finds some new people which is Teddy’s family. Actually Jackson used Teddy to frame him. He goes to the town house where he finds a strawberry that he ate that day. Police find him there and take him to custody to interrogate him. Jackson calls him to come to the place where Rachel Platt got murdered.

The Tutor(2023) Ending Explained:

Jackson describes how his mom died. He says only he, his dad and the murderer knows where she died. Since Ethan comes where exactly she died so he is the one who killed her. But Ethan renounces it because the current runs straight to where she was found. So it doesn’t take a genius to figure out this is where she killed herself.

Jackson hits him with a rod and makes him faint. When he wakes up he acknowledges that he was with her that day but not at the time when she committed suicide. Rachel’s husband gave her ultimatum that she couldn’t leave her family so she got hysterical. Ethan didn’t think she would hurt herself.

Then the twist comes. Jackson brings the diary where she wrote about him.

‘He is a pathetic puppy dog. She can’t understand why he won’t stop. This poor boy begging to be accepted..to be wanted.’

Then Ethan kills Givan with the hockey stick and chases Jackson. At some time, Annie reaches there and then he says,

‘Do you see what this psycho kid has done to me?’

He is gonna kill Annie at that time, Jackson shoots him with a gun, he falls in the water but the police don’t find the dead body. Next we see Ethan as a tutor again giving his valuable speech.

We all know what Bastard means but progressive country people are not that much worried about this kind of bastard theory. They think if we love each other and are committed to each other we can have children. It’s not necessary to get married before having children. In this movie, when Jackson asks Ethan this, it reminds me about my country where marriage is considered compulsory.

Elizabeth Berry wants to make an independent film where she will portray Gracie who was caught doing unlawful things in a pet store in 1992. She was sentenced to jail for her illegal deed. Gracie lives in Savannah, Georgia. Elizabeth visits her house to know more about her character.

What happened in 1992 in the movie May December?

The day Elizabeth Berry comes to Gracie’s place, Gracie and Joe arrange a party along with the neighbours. This is the ‘Joe’ whom she was caught being intimate with in that pet store. Joe was only a 13 years old child when this shit happened. This is why she was sent to jail where Gracie gave birth to her first child with seventh grade student Joe.

The entry of Elizabeth Berry in Gracie’s life:

When Elizabeth reaches there, she gets a box, kept in front of Gracie’s house. It is a box of real shit. People send these things to express their hatred for them. Gracie calls her childhood unique as she was pretty close to her brothers. But Elizabeth notices a subtle wrath when Gracie gets asked about her children by her ex-husband. Elizabeth reminds Joe about his early parenting. Elizabeth and Joe are the same age. She has just started to think about having kids but Joe is sending his kids off to college. Elizabeth is playing tricks to know about his regrets, pains but Joe avoids the question as if he gets a little scared. 

Elizabeth meets the ex husband of Gracie, Tom to know how he survived the weirdness of the incident. Gracie awakens her not to interact with anyone without informing her so that she doesn’t have to account to neighbours. She meets the pet store owner and sees the stockroom and acts like she is Gracie, passing that intimate moment. Elizabeth checks on the 13 years old boy’s x-ray of hand and she expresses her joy to get the chance to sneak around with him.

She also meets the lawyer who handled Gracie’s case when she was in trouble for getting caught. He informs Gracie was in love with the boy she was caught with and this case placed him in the front page of the Time magazine. Here is an interesting fact that people order cakes just to keep her busy. It’s a kindness they show to her. Elizabeth is invited to Mary’s school where she answers questions.

Elizabeth says she prefers complex roles to know whether they are born like this or they are made. Mary pisses off with her knowing that. Returning home she takes a walk with Joe. Another thing, he steals things from the surroundings of dead people like spectacles, expensive watches, chains. He sells them in the market telling them he was given them by his closed ones.

At night, Angel notices Venessa isn’t replying to someone who has just messaged her while he is talking with her. She is trying to be a mother but she is again on her period. Vanessa wants Angel to do a fertility test. At first he was stubborn but eventually agreed to the matter. Doctor says his sperm count is low. Most of them show poor motility which means they can’t reach the egg to fertilise it. This condition of health is called asthenospermia. 

In the evening, he tells Vanessa to try more often but she refuses because of her study. When her cell phone makes sounds, he finds her chatting with someone named Roberto, her classmate. After that Angelo goes to an accident spot to rescue people as his regular routine. When the patient starts having convulsions, the driver loses concentration and falls in an accident. Angelo gets paralysed under his waist.

Venessa claims Roberto is just her classmate who takes notes when she is not there. Angelo goes to the gym to retrieve his senses. The female trainer insults him saying he can take her out to the dance! Ricardo visits him to apologise for his clumsiness that day. Next day, police reach out to him and interrogate him. He informs calmly he hasn’t heard from Ricardo in months but Venessa came one week ago to say goodbye as she was going to france.

Ricardo calls the police to investigate her missing incident. She can’t disappear like this as she is pregnant. Meanwhile, Angel faints him with morphine and poisons him to death. Jessica, a widow, is shifting to another place. On her trip, she survives an accident from a close encounter. A black car is following her for a few while. She takes another road and that car loses her.

She runs out of fuel. Being stopped by a fuel station, she calls her dad. They were supposed to help her, coming over to her house but she left without letting them know. Meanwhile she notices that black car is at that station. She tells her dad she is 300 miles away. She reaches a motel to stay over a night there and cries over her dead husband watching their old photos. 

In the morning, she encounters that man with the black car. He apologises for having passed her like he is following her who was actually not following her. She accepts his apology but remains doubtful inside. Then she heads for the north. In the middle of the road, she encounters that man again. His engine just died on him. He tells her to give a ride to the next gas station but she wants to check on the GPS to find the number of the next gas station. When he persists to get help from her, she avoids him saying she is late for a meeting.

She stops at a car parking station, it’s night here. She smokes while talking with her mom. Her mom is worried about her loneliness that she has chosen for her and tells about going to a therapist. It’s a bad idea, leaving behind all friends and family. Suddenly that black car comes again, she gets in her car hurriedly. That black car is still following her. She reaches out to 911, but can’t tell them the location, instantly that car passes her abruptly leaving her confused. She tells them it’s a false alarm.

The River:

Her car loses control and leans over out of the road. He finds someone left a cut over a wheel of the tow truck. She expels the tow truck from her car and tries to move it on the road. Guess what? That black car reaches there. He hits the car with a bat and locks her into a congested room. Waking up, Jessica requests him to release her, even, she wants to give him money but he isn’t bothered. He shows her videos of them together and talks about her husband’s death who killed himself.

He does it to weaken her mentally. He tells her to take off her clothes but she looks forward to escaping but it turns out to be a stupid activity. He hits her and locks her again. She pulls out a nail from the wall and pushes the key to her jacket. The key makes him easily leave the house. She runs like crazy to be freed. Her leg gets impaled by a tree root but still she manages to reach the river. He almost gets her when she is on the edge of the mountain river. Lastly, she jumps off.

The Rain:

Consuming a lot of water, she made it to reach safely on another bank of the river where he hasn’t reached yet. She meets with a man with a gun called Robert and seeks help from him. He is a good man lost in the woods just like her. He gives her boots and drives her through the woods. Instantly there is a tree fallen horizontally on the road. That black car arrives and tries to make Robert confused saying she is her sister who escaped from the house, her husband killed himself so she is not stable.

Jessica denies everything with rage and tells Robert to take his phone to call the police. When Robert wants his phone, he punches him hard and shoots him in the head. Jessica escapes and it starts raining in the forest. Since the night is coming slowly to the forest, it would not be easy for him to find her.

The Night:

The man and Jessica are now playing hide and seek in the deep forest with a heavy rain. She gets shot but still manages to hide herself. He tries to intrigue her and says she will bleed to death within a few moments and after that her body will start rotting. She can’t be a coward like her husband. People who think about suicide, they must reach out for help. Maybe he wanted to tell her something. He provokes her to come out and fight. He gives her one minute to think wisely and take the gun resting on the ground.

He keeps intriguing her for coming out calling her husband a coward but it doesn’t work. He leaves the place and we keep waiting for dawn. 

Alone 2020 Ending Explained:

The Clearing:

In the morning, she wakes up in the jungle. Forwarding a little far, finds that psycho, keeping Robert’s dead body in the trunk of the Jeep. He steps aside to grave that body. Meanwhile, she gets in the car and hides herself taking the phone. Getting in the car, he kind of senses something fishy but doesn’t understand what is bothering him. He keeps going and looks around but nothing unusual attracts.

Suddenly he can’t find his phone and Jessica attacks her. She hits him frequently and the car gets inverted, losing its balance. She comes out of the car, badly injured but pulls herself together to lift up her body. That man comes out too. Jessica plays a trick to startle that man. She asks his wife if she knows where her husband is. She knows he is on a business trip in California.

Melinda and Vic are very good to their neighbours, they often arrange parties. At such a party, Vic notices Joel hanging out with Melinda. One of their neighbours asks him why he is so indifferent at Melinda’s rebellious and careless behaviour. He thinks they are just friends, nothing more. They are not his concerns.

Joel appreciates Vic for being cool about his wife’s freedom. Vic tells him about Martin McRae whom he killed for seeing his wife. Joel gets scared and leaves. Melinda understands something happened between Joel and Vic. Joel might be dumb but he makes her enjoy who she is, that turns her on. Vic gets upset about the fact she gets turned on by someone except him.

Everyone of the neighbours gets to know about the fact that Vic killed Martin. But they know Vic very well so they take it as a joke. A loud music is playing in the room, girls are making cookies. Men are trying cigars. Vic joins and celebrates quietly. Meanwhile, Melinda notices Charlie’s dead body pops up in the water. They lift his body to the ground and do CPR. The Police come over and look into the matter. Melinda accuses Vic as a murderer in front of the police. While the interrogation is going on, he is asked if his wife was sleeping with Charlie. Vic denies questioning her like that because he doesn’t feel the need to dictate her choices. The police leave without suspecting anyone.

Don is trying to figure out what is going on with Vic. If he really is involved with killing then how come they are gonna prove it. Don comes over to their house for dinner, he sees his snail farm and has confessed he has no problem attending a lie director test. Next day, Vic sees a car parking where there is a telephoto camera. He enters the restaurant and finds Melinda and a man talking over something. Don hired him to privately investigate him. Melinda wired that money to him.

Vic finds another man with Melinda. They seem pretty close to each other and that makes Vic think about breaking his neck. In the house, Vic notices her usual behavior, not worrying about family, just being slutty all the time. Next day, Tony comes over to her place to meet Vic. Vic shows his amazing snails who have made the room like a science lab. Vic and Tony are having a nice chit chat. He is talking about his projects about making a sustainable planet.

In the middle of the chat, suddenly she mentions he was the first American she fucked. Tony is surprised and tries to make the situation light by laughing it out. But he has already been listed in Vic’s garbage list.

Vic notices Melinda showing her private part to Tony. From the next day, Tony never contacts Melinda. Vic takes Melinda and Trixie for a walk near a mountain river and shows her an album with a lot of beautiful moments of hers’ collected by him. She gets emotional and hugs her. There comes a new turn of love in their relationship. Next day, Melinda visits his snail lab and finds Tony’s moneybag there. Vic cycles him to the mountain to take Melinda’s scarf that she had forgotten that day.

Meanwhile, Melinda is about to leave him but Trixie drowns the bag into the pool and doesn’t want to leave.

Murder mystery Explained:

Vic is an egoistically and emotionally involved with his wife Melinda who thinks Vic doesn’t love her. He just doesn’t want to lose to other guys. That’s why he clears away his path, killing his wife’s boyfriends.

Martin McRae, who was a friend of Melinda, gets killed because of getting close with Melinda. The police found the dead body later. Vic killed him by hitting with a hammer.

Vic scares away Joel, telling him that he killed Martin McRae. Since Joel leaves the country, he gets saved.

Next he kills Charles whom Melinda got involved a little more with. He killed him by drowning him in the pool water.

Then we got Tony. The first American she got intimate with. He throws him into a mountain river and drowns him.

Plot Summary of Gone Girl 2014:

Nicholas Dunne, married to Amy Elliot, comes over to his sister’s bar to have some casual talk about his current life. He gets a phone call from his neighbour while his conversation is going on. He gets back to his home and sees his living room table is crushed and Amy is nowhere in the house.

He calls in police and they investigate the whole house primarily and assume it as a missing case. He goes to the police station with them to help out answering their questions. The police find out Nick Dunne doesn’t know much about his wife, not even knows her blood type. Nick hears his father’s voice while a police officer is rescuing him. He gets to his father and drives him to his asylum. 

When these incidents are taking place, the movie takes us to flashbacks frequently. We see Amy and Nick have dated each other for two years. They both are writers so they sync with each other so well.  Amy’s mother writes a children’s book ‘Amazing Amy’ and Amy Elliott represents this character. One day Nick proposes to Amy so dramatically that she, who is actually scared of attachments or more specifically scared of marriage, can’t deny him. So they get married.

After the marriage their relationship is going well at the beginning when they lose their job during economic recession. When the crisis moment comes they are facing problems and Nick starts to see Amy’s entitled behaviour. She gives her parents’ money from the prenup without asking Nick but when it comes to Nick, she accuses him for spending extravagantly.

Scene comes to the present as we see Nick drive himself to the place where all volunteers, police, Amy’s parents are gathered. Nick tries to be nice to everyone so that everyone helps to find Amy. Nick returns to home when we come to the flashback again. Amy and Nick shift to Missouri as his mom gets stage 4 cancer. She feels so abandoned as Nick is giving all his attention to his homies.

‘I feel like something he loaded by mistake. Something to be jettisoned, if necessary.

I wish I could disappear.’

So she wasn’t happy seeing Nick’s consideration being allotted into others. Nick’s mother dies and he starts to be away from Amy and begins an affair. She thinks she must have a baby to save his marriage but when she tells him about it he rejects the idea and angrily throws her to the stair side. At that moment she realises how much he wants to hurt her.

Wooo…that’s really scary and hurtful at the same time.

At present, when Nick’s girlfriend comes over to his place to stay the night with him, his sister gets to know about his affair that he was hiding for one and half year. Detective Rhonda and police come to a place where people try drugs to meet a man who supplies guns. He informs them she came to him asking for a gun. Nick attends a press conference to clear his stands about finding Amy and at that moment a neighbour comes forward screaming that Amy was six weeks pregnant.

Startled Nick leaves that place under police cover as everyone gets excited knowing the pregnant news. Detective Rhonda queries Nick and informs him of some shocking facts that her investigation team has found out. The day Amy goes missing, she loses a lot of blood but there is no sign of home invasion because everything in the house is upright. No blood and nobody suggests kidnapping but a pool of blood and nobody suggests homicide. So they suspect Nick for murdering his wife.

They show him that he spended a lot of money but Nick can’t understand how he lost so much money and a while later they get sure about the news of pregnancy. Margo comes over and asks Nick about pregnancy. Nick tells her that he always wanted to have kids but Amy didn’t want but he didn’t tell Margo because Amy didn’t want him to tell. Margo leaves frustrated knowing her brother is a murderer. Nick sits on a chair to solve the treasure hunt clues. First and Seconds clue lead you to the third clue and it says,

It indicates a woodshed where they keep goodies at every anniversary. On the other hand Rhonda and Gill come over to his Dad’s house because they saw them sneak around here. Rhonda finds a diary partly burnt down and Nick opens up the door of the shed and he gets a shock seeing what he sees. Nick calls Margo and shows all the things that were kept there with a present. Those were things which were bought from Nick’s credit card. That means Nick actually is telling the truth. He hasn’t spent anything, it actually was done by Amy to frame Nick for her murder.

Movie Twists and Turns in Gone Girl 2014:

Now we see Amy driving on the highway, being a missing case. Now we get to see how she made up an incredible drama. She befriended a local pregnant lady called Noelle, she portrayed her husband as a tempered shit. One day she invited her to house and offered her lemonade. She drained her toilet before she got there. After the pregnant lady used the bathroom, she steals the urine to make a record of her fake pregnancy.

When the day came, she catheterized a lot of blood from herself, spilled the blood in the kitchen and then mopped it like someone else was doing it. Then she kept a partly burnt diary in Nick’s dad house’s cellar which she wrote in the last few days to make crime seem more relatable to Nick. And lastly she made a treasure hunt for Nick to find out that she is the ultimate winner. Now Amy has changed herself totally from what she was pretending all these years to be with Nick. The so-called cool girl that she actually is not.

Nick meets Tanner Bolt, the famous lawyer who wins unwinnable cases. In the meantime we see on television that the reporters are speculating false allegations like Nick is extra close with her twin sister which Amy is watching with her current neighbour. She lights a cigarette and jumps up her victory posture and makes a phone call to the police saying she is experiencing unusual acts near Margo’s house. That means she is living in Missouri right now. Rhonda is reading Amy’s diary but thinking why Nick has gone to his dad’s house to burn the diary and why didn’t he make sure the whole thing is burnt?

Tenor comes to Nick’s house to discuss the whole matter. Nick reveals that Amy’s treasure hunt clues lead them to the places where he and his teenage girlfriend occasionally got intimate. Tanner suggests to them that Nick should apologise for what he did with her wife in the past for turning public sympathy towards him. In the meantime Amy gets robbed by her neighbours so she is bound to go to ‘Crazy for her’ Ex Desi.

When Nick is about to go live, they see a public statement given by Andie admitting her guilt. Tanner gets frustrated but Nick reassures him and wants to go live. Nick goes live and he keeps his word and becomes able to catch everyone’s empathy and Amy also gets convinced to return to him but Desi doesn’t want to allow her because for a long time she keeps hanging him. Amy understands that Desi is not gonna let her go easily so she makes a plan. The day after the night, she wears her charm again and fiercely kisses him and bites his lips. That night Amy seduces him and murders him during intimacy and returns to Nick.

She states Desi harassed her from childhood, she kept him calm all these years answering his letters. She went to him for shelter but he took the chance and raped her. She requests to check the camera records. Nick is not happy to get back her psychopath killer wife so he tells her he is gonna leave her but she warns him reminding that if he does it the people won’t leave him alone. They will destroy him. But he doesn’t care about it. It’s wise to live alone rather than to live with a psychopath.

Amy tries to win Nick’s heart by making him breakfast but she knows that eventually he will be gone. So she needs to do something that Nick Dunne can’t be able to leave. Amy apprises Nick about her pregnancy. Nick denies his fraternity and wants a test. Amy shows her confidence so Nick gets convinced that it’s his child so eventually Amy gets to win. She becomes able to tie Nick with her until death.

It’s an idea that there are a lot of types of people, among them some girls don’t get angry, don’t scream, they make relationships fun otherwise just leave. But there are girls who don’t take it easy if someone dares to leave them. 

Gone girl book versus gone girl movie differences:

★Proposal scene:

Amy and Nick’s proposal scene was not in the book. In the movie, we see Nick proposing to her in front of her friends in her parents’ Amazing Amy success party.

★Abandoned Mall:

In the movie, the two police officers investigate the matter going to an abandoned mall where the druggists spend time injecting heroin in their veins. But actually in the book, Nick goes there with some friends.

★Fear of blood:

The previous year before the fake death happened, Amy pretended to fear blood. She even fainted in front of the hospital nurse when Nick’s mom was given Bone marrow.

★Desi’s death:

In the book, Amy drugged Desi to death. But in the movie, Amy killed him in the middle of the sex. It was disturbing and brutal.

★Amy’s Safeguard:

Amy poisoned her with anti-freeze, vomited it and stored it in the refrigerator. She threatened Nick telling him about the freezed vomit in the book. But in the movie, it didn’t happen.

How did Amy manage to get pregnant at the end of the movie when Nick didn’t even touch him?

Amy is a narcissist who always somehow manages to win over Nick. Nick doesn’t want to live with her. So it has been compulsory for her to glue him with her. She takes his sperm from his masturbation wastes and infuses them into her. That’s how she gets pregnant.

Gone Girl 2014, Amy Dunne character analysis:

Amy is a psychopath who has narcissistic personality disorder. She can’t tolerate when someone gives attention to someone else over her. She always tries to be everyone’s centre of attraction. She can’t take failure or insults in an easy way. She wants Nick Dunne to realise his mistake and take her back in his life and she made that happen. She shows Nick, he can only lead the life she wants him to.

At the end, at a cosy night when Nick, lying next to his psychopath wife, rubbing her hair saying what she is thinking and when Amy looking right to him says in her mind,

“How are you feeling?”
